Track environmental noise around you with this easy-to-use decibel meter app. This app will transform your device into a professional grade sound detector with detailed visual analysis.
Decibel Meter app uses the built-in microphone to determine the level of sound it detects and displays it in decibels (dB). Microphone audio data is used to calculate dB (Decibels) / AF (Audio Frequency) reading to the user. This app is also support upload functionality, if the user prefer to use dB / AF values for further analysis. Apart from that the audio or any other information is not collected, used, stored, transmitted or circulated in any way. The decibel reading obtained from this application is limited to the device microphone capabilities. It is not, therefore, recommended to use this app as a high quality, zero tolerance professional grade meter. The dB reading obtained from this app is between 20 to 120 decibels without any calibration. Audible frequencies is limited to the standard range of 20 to 20,000 Hz.
